Monty Toms' School Days

Recently, while walking in the countryside I listened to 19 year young Monty talking to his senior Charles. I was struck by the younger man's school experience and produced some artworks.

Monty was 14 when covid1984 kicked in.

CCTV tracked students to monitor those who had been in close contact with another student with a ‘false’ positive PCR test; like Nazi Germany. The Deputy Head with a clip board would enter the classroom, ‘Can these names follow me to the school hall?’
Students were sent home for 2 weeks.

Home schooling is now Monty’s preference. Home schooling means the government loses control of young minds.
Teachers are waxing lyrical about subjects they are not qualified for. There is a direction from somewhere up above about what to say and include.

The response tends to be agreement.
A little courage can influence and break down group think mentality.
Young people who were 14, now 18, today think, ‘I can’t buy a house, I can’t even go to the doctors… I trusted you and you were wrong.’

Face masks allowed them to hide; ties in with phones, filters, Snapchat, make-up, Botox, media... technology is dangerous with regards to mental well-being and hiding oneself, it’s a distraction and implementation tool; influences thoughts and the approach to life.

This does not detract from Monty Toms brave stance and activism since. It’s merely an observation and my current dismay at what is happening in Palestine.

I’m baptised Christian, and so what? It’s merely a belief system, not a racial identity. But, being Jewish is automatically assumed as genetic racial identity.
