15 Minutes. They Killed Her.

It's not a fun nor happy subject, but it is a case for myself and others of never, never, never forget.

I did wonder about publishing this image. I re-read my transcripted notes of the Couey-Cohen conversation and this was a spontaneous pictorial depiction. It was and is the sad and painful truth.

I apparently joined Twitter X March 2009 and have 682 ‘followers’ at the time of typing. My ‘reach’ as they refer to in social media terms, is negligible. The response to my Substack posts are negligible. Why bother? I guess I enjoy creating artworks; though, as I joke, I’m hardly hardly Vermeer. I don’t know why Vermeer; it was simply a master from the past that came to mind. The Couey-Cohen conversation was important and I've chronicled it for anyone who might one day be interested:

I did wonder if it was appropriate to publish images ‘inspired’ by the death of Dan Cohen’s grandmother. However, he’s been to Palestine, has probably witnessed some grotesque events, so my artwork is unlikely to bother him too much. His words inspired this…

Generally, I've noticed people just want to get on with their lives and forget what happened during what I always refer to as covid1984. I don't forget. I was astounded at how easily my village, constituency, county, country, community both local and international, apparently so easily caved, submitted and acquiesced to the covid1984 fear campaign. My MP during that time was the above mentioned Matthew Hancock who literally said these words in the House...
