The other day, 21 May 2024 at about 8.19am, I heard Nick Robinson aka Nick Dobbyson, interview Mel Stride, the UK government Work and Pensions Munster. The main topic of discussion was the contaminated blood scandal. BBC’s Dobby commented to the munster, ‘Hillsborough, the Post Office, the blood scandal, there is a problem with the British state…’
I responded to the radio, ‘Yes Nick Dobbyson, and the BBC is a major part of the problem’.

An almost daily theme at the BBC is climate change. This week while they were reporting on the Singapore aircraft turbulence incident, I jokingly responded to the radio, ‘climate change’. Incredibly, perhaps 5 minutes later, the radio referenced ‘climate change’. They are obsessed with, and of course there is no debate about, our present day climate emergency, despite there not being one.
