UK media presenter Jeremy Vine sued ex-professional footballer Joey Barton for allegedly offensive Tweets including calling Vine a 'bike' and a 'nonce'. Hurty words are a thing. It's pathetic.
I believe Joey Barton is to appeal, but how is it that typed words on Twitter now constitute a crime? Freedom of expression includes tolerating unpleasant words, at least it did. Having read 1984 in 1984 it staggers me that ‘wrong think’, ‘wrong speak’ and ‘thought crime’ are realities today that result in English people being given custodial sentences. Meanwhile President Trump has referred to the Mayor London, who is ruining my home town, as ‘horrible, vicious and disgusting’. I agree, he is! Trump has the First Amendment while Joey does not.

I’d made various notes as I do while watching paint and dry dry, but as I was finishing off the above masterpiece of ‘not a bike nonce’, I came upon the ‘terrible’ Joey Barton talking to the ‘mad’ David Icke. I’ve listened to Part 1 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have some of Icke’s books, but not listened to him much for some years. I played football as a boy and was very familiar with Icke as a presenter for Grandstand way before his infamous Terry Wogan Show moment.

On a similar vein, this is Tim Wallace Murphy. Is there something worthwhile within this lecture? Perhaps, but he references Sigmund Freud who as far as I’m concerned was a degenerate scam artist. Then, right at the end, at about 1 hr 12 mins, he states ‘The climate change greenhouse effect is very real’.
Utter nonsense. Anthropogenic climate change is a scam. I end up wondering if I just wasted another hour of life listening to this while drawing. I was relieved that at 16 mins. in Graham Moore agrees:

Is Trump happy to prolong the Ukraine business because it’s hurting the UK €U establishment? I do not wake up worrying about Russia, but my own UK government lost the plot long ago. As for seeing Trump yet again stood side by side with demon Nutz Nuttyyahoo, I despair. Tom Luongo, Promethean Action & co believe Trump is disassembling the old UK €U established ‘Rules Based Order’. I like that idea, but will believe it as I see clear evidence. Even Garland Nixon seems to concur and I like Garland.
