This is from Sunday 09 March 2025, a BBC license is required to access this and is only ‘Available for 28 days’. I repeat, I put the BBC on in the bathroom or kitchen to catch up with the drivel they pour out. It’s almost always worth my reporting on for its appalling take on the day’s events and news. I listened to the following and heard them literally describing the circumstances in which they were murdering people with ventilation, isolation and fear.

The pandemic changed everything. Uprooted all the norms.
At about 8.40am actress Sophia Myles is introduced. She lost her Dad Peter Myles to covid. He had an ‘aggressive’ form of Parkinson’s, was admitted to a nursing home a month before he contracted the virus, ‘He caught it in there…’, was taken to hospital and within 3 days was dead. he was within the first 50 people in the country to die. Nobody was taking seriously this thing going on far away in China. The elderly were so vulnerable, Anyone who wasn’t in a good state of health was a prime target for that virus.
The BBC presenter reminds us how hard is for for relatives to see people who were unwell. Sophia was able to visit her father just before the policy of closing access to hospitals and care homes. Sh e was allowed onto the ward for 10 mins, was geared up with protective clothing. ‘Poor Dad must have been thinking what on earth is going on, and he was on a ventilator, I was looking like a spaceman. he couldn’t talk, his breathing was strained. I told him how much we loved him and the next day he died.
The BBC presenter asked the now typical question, ‘what were your emotions?’
How dumb are these people? Oh, I was skipping around the place full of the joys of life, you silly mare!
Sophia replies, ‘It was a bit like walking into an apocalyptic movie, Outbreak of one of those types of films. Every patient was on a ventilator. The staff are normally very jolly, professional, great attitude, but I could see the staff were frightened because they’d never seen anything like it before. ‘It affected everyone this virus, whether you lost a loved one or not, people’s lives were changed… this day of reflection will help raise funds for NHS charities… we take it for granted and we’re privileged to have a NHS here… they were just extraordinary during the pandemic…’

This is Sophia on TV shortly after the passing of her father. I assume Sophia would be horrified at my suspicions and views of covid1984. Why is Parkinson’s now so common? It wasn’t when I was a kid. Oh, they say, today we’re better at diagnosis and recognising such ailments. Really?
